See Jane Salon Video

November 16, 2017
Hosted by CBS Entertainment Diversity

By the year 2020 more than half of the nation’s children are expected to be part of a minority or ethnic group and by 2044, no one racial or ethnic group will dominate the U.S in terms of size. This panel will discuss the significant impact of portrayals of intersectionality in media. What are the best practices to address unconscious bias? What are the challenges faced by people who belong to multiple marginalized groups and how can we achieve a more just media landscape?
