Symposiums on Gender in Media

Global Symposium 2017 New York

Our 5th Global Symposium on Gender in Media will be held in New York City on September 28, 6-8:30 p.m.

FEATURING

  • New GD-IQ (Geena Davis Inclusion Quotient) 2.0
  • STEM Trends in Media Panel

Don’t miss the premiere of our latest GD-IQ 2.0 analysis, a look at 2017 family films and our first STEM event in New York City. Join influencers including content creators, business leaders, actors, directors, media personalities, policy makers, to engage in meaningful dialogue around the empowerment of women and girls. Our symposiums convene leading CEOs and decision makers in the entertainment industry, corporations and NGOs interested in the elimination of unconscious gender bias in family entertainment. The purpose of our symposiums is to engage and educate the media community about our latest findings and to also share best practices in order to drive dramatic change to the content that our children are consuming.
