Security Princess

Parisa Tabriz is a computer security expert who manages Google’s information security engineering team, which is responsible for improving Google’s product security. She chose the title “Security Princess” due to her experience in hacking and internet security and a desire for a less staid, more whimsical title on her business card. Her team of “hired hackers” conducts security design and code reviews, builds and enhances Google technology to make secure development possible and easy, conducts security engineering training, and does vulnerability response. Parisa received her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. In 2012, Forbes magazine included her in their “Top 30 People Under 30 To Watch in the Technology Industry” list.
