Thursday, June 29, 2023

Watch the full event replay here. See below for event details.

The Geena Davis Institute, in partnership with Craig Newmark Philanthropies, held an engaging discourse on the real-world impact of online violence – a coordinated threat confronting all of us, especially women and gender-expansive journalists. Attendees learned what actions, resources, and tools are available to help keep us all safe.

We brought together leaders from the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF), Right To Be, and accomplished journalists to delve into the nuanced world of online abuse and explore how the media industry can play a transformative role in addressing these issues.
