The Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media is the only research-based organization working within the media and entertainment industry to engage, educate, and influence the need to dramatically improve, gender balance, reduce stereotyping and create diverse female characters in entertainment targeting children 11 and under.
An Evening with Geena Davis is our annual fundraiser that will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at the William Turner Gallery (2525 Michigan Ave., Santa Monica, CA). This event is attended by 200 thought leaders in the entertainment industry. Since its beginning, four years ago, this event has raised almost $130,000 to support the research, education and advocacy programs that are creating a world where girls grow up surrounded by positive reminders of their equality and worth.
Given the targeted, affluent demographic of the guests, An Evening with Geena Davis presents an exceptional opportunity for brands seeking to connect with this audience.
