Assistant Director, Development & Operations, Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media
Stephanie MacLean is the Assistant Director, Development & Operations for the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in the Media. Founded by Academy Award-winning actor and advocate Geena Davis, the organization works within the entertainment industry to eliminate unconscious bias, highlight gender balance, and challenge stereotypes.
A native of the Inland Empire, Stephanie earned her B.A. in Art History with a minor in glass art and a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Leadership, both from Cal State San Bernardino. Her previous roles include development associate to both the College of Arts and Letters and The Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration as well as interim Director of Donor Relations, all with the Cal State San Bernardino Office of Philanthropic Giving. She also previously worked at the Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art (RAFFMA) as the marketing, membership and engagement coordinator for over five years where she received the President’s Team Achievement Award for her work on the Arts & Music Festival at CSUSB in 2013.
Stephanie is active in the community, serving on the board of directors for The League of Women Voters of the San Bernardino Area. She also previously served on the board of directors of Arts Connection, the Arts Council of San Bernardino County from 2015-2017.
