Rebecca Cooper is the Research Manager for the research team at the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media. She has worked as a professional researcher for nearly a decade, as the Anchor Evaluator for Agenda for Children, Director for the Lower Ninth Ward Living Museum’s oral history archive, and researcher for the Mossville Oral History Project at Louisiana State University. Rebecca graduated cum laude from Occidental College with a degree in Politics and minor in Sociology. Her academic work has been featured in the Oxford University Press Oral History Review as well as the Contemporary Justice Review.
