Leela Ladnier voices the title role of Mira, a young girl who travels throughout the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur solving mysteries for her friends, family and extended community in Disney Junior’s animated series Mira, Royal Detective.

An actress, dancer and singer-songwriter, Ladnier’s credits include a principal role in the feature film Boris and the Bomb, 2015’s NBCU Short Film Festival finalist Touch, Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark and a lead dancer in Smurfs: The Lost Village dance featurette.

Ladnier’s local and high school theater credits include Aladdin, Footloose, The Sound of Music, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Mamma Mia.

Born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles, Ladnier is passionate about music and wrote and produced her debut album, Society of Silence. Her other hobbies include playing the piano and ukulele, finding unique vintage clothes, and rooting for the NFL’s New Orleans Saints.
