Komal Singh

Senior Program Manager, Google AI Research & STEM Author

Komal Singh is a senior program manager in Google Research, bestselling author of children’s STEM books, board member, and a public speaker.

At Google, her work in Responsible AI is dedicated to making ML systems and products work better for underserved and marginalized people. She feels passionately about applying technology to measure representation and champion for inclusivity in mainstream media. She has spearheaded many successful product launches in Google Cloud and Ads.

Prior to Google, Komal worked in technology consulting at Accenture, delivering large-scale digital transformations for many Fortune 500 clients.

Her STEM book series “Adventures of Ara”, dedicated to diversifying characters for underrepresented children, have been published globally and critically acclaimed.

Komal enjoys working on interesting problems at the intersection of technology, creativity, and social impact.

She holds a Bachelors’ and Masters’ degree in Computer Science, and lives in Ontario, Canada.
