Katherine Sweetman (she/her) is the Social Media Coordinator for the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in the Media. Katherine is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and arts educator. She has an MFA in Film and TV Production from The School of Cinematic Arts, University of Southern California a second MFA in Visual and Performing arts from the University of California, San Diego. Her work has been distributed in major film festivals throughout the world including Rencontres Internationales; broadcast on major TV outlets including Cox, Brighthouse Networks, Time Warner; shown in galleries and museums including The Getty Center, Los Angeles. Katherine moonlights as an adjunct university instructor teaching courses on visual culture and media at colleges and universities including The University of California, San Diego; San Diego State University; International Technological University and more.
