Jeyun Munford is Senior Vice President of Production for Universal Pictures. In this role, she is currently overseeing projects such as the upcoming 355 and Marry Me, as well as Darius the Great is Not Okay and A Deadly Education.

Prior to joining Universal in 2019, Munford was Senior Vice President of Production & Development at Lionsgate Entertainment, where she was responsible for managing the development and productions of feature films for the motion picture group. Over the course of her career at Lionsgate, she was promoted from assistant to SVP, overseeing productions that included A Simple Favor, Nerve, and Ender’s Game. She has also worked on such films as Warm Bodies, Long Shot, Deepwater Horizon, Divergent, Insurgent and Now You See Me.

Munford began her career in entertainment as a graduate film student in the Producers Program at UCLA. After receiving her master’s degree, her first job was at the independent film company Yari Film Group, before she began her tenure at Summit Entertainment, which was acquired by Lionsgate in 2012. Before deciding to pursue her passion for storytelling and content creation in entertainment, Munford worked in the market research field for ACNielsen and client Kraft/Nabisco, and the magazine division at Time, Inc., with titles such as Time, People and Sports Illustrated.

She received her B.S. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, two children and two dogs.
