Jen Louis Barrett

Head of Entertainment, Creative Shop, Facebook

Jen Barrett is the Head of Entertainment for Facebook, leading creative vision and strategy for film, TV, and streaming clients. In 2017, Jen founded Facebook’s SEEN program to drive representation in the entertainment industry (IG@seen). Through SEEN, Jen’s led education, advocacy, creative, and strategic support for underrepresented storytellers around the world at Sundance, SXSW, and BFI’s London Film Fest, in partnership with The Blackhouse Foundation, Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, and Women in Film & Television.

Jen is a requested speaker for Mobile World Congress, PromaxBDA, Blackhouse Foundation at Sundance, ADCOLOR, and OTT TV World Summit. Jen and her work have been featured in Variety, Forbes, The Hollywood Reporter, and Deadline.

She has served on the executive board for the AIGA The Professional Association for Design, the American Advertising Federation, on the advisory board for International Academy of Design & Technology, and as a coach for ADCOLOR’s Futures program.

Prior to Facebook, Jen was Global Director of Design for CNN and Global Creative Director for NBC’s Weather Channel. Jen earned a BFA from University of Florida and leads work for representation in Hollywood and beyond.
