A ten-time Emmy®-nominated television producer, Halle Stanford leads the Company’s development and production of all television, home entertainment, and digital media in animated and live-action formats establishing the Company’s creative culture across all territories.

Stanford recently acted as executive producer on the new Netflix series The Dark Crystal:  Age of Resistance. She is in development on a new slate of television projects including The Kissing Hand, based on the internationally renowned picture book; Harriet the Spy, based on the classic novel; Slumberkins, based on the popular book and plush toy line; and The Witchlands, based on the popular New York Times best-selling book series by Susan Dennard. Stanford is a co-creator and executive producer for the PBS series Sid the Science Kid and has executive produced Dinosaur Train and Splash and Bubbles for the network. Her other credits include the Netflix series Word Party, the Randi Zuckerberg series Dot., and Doozers.

Stanford co-authored a book series, Jim Henson’s Enchanted Sisters, a collection of fantastical comedy-adventure stories for girls published by Bloomsbury, which is currently in development as a series of animated features with Cyber Group Studios.

Stanford joined The Jim Henson Company in 1993 and worked on beloved Muppet projects like Muppet Treasure Island, Muppets Tonight, and Bear in the Big Blue House, as well as the sci-fi cult classic Farscape. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film and Theater from Wesleyan University, lives in Los Angeles, and is the proud mother of her two sons, Max and Theo, who are 13-years apart.
