Christina M. Kim is the creator, executive producer, and co-showrunner of the CW series Kung Fu. Kim was previously a writer and executive producer on the NBC drama Blindspot for five seasons.

Kim’s writing career began on ABC’s hit series Lost where she was on staff for three seasons. Her numerous other writing credits include CBS’s NCIS: LA and Hawaii 5-0.

Kim received a Writers Guild Award for Outstanding Series for her work on Lost and was nominated for Outstanding Dramatic Writing for an episode of Lost that she wrote in the show’s second season.

Kim was born in Chicago, but spent half of her childhood in Seoul where she learned to speak Korean fluently. She returned to the States to attend high school at Phillips Exeter Academy, then went on to major in English at Georgetown University. Kim moved to LA to pursue a career in screenwriting and received an MFA from USC Film School.
