Cameron Espinoza (she/her) is Director of Applied Research. Her primary work at the Institute includes Spellcheck for Bias, research design, and special projects. Cameron is completing her PhD in political science at City University of New York (CUNY). Her research focus is on voter suppression and restrictions of suffrage at the state-level in the United States. She holds a Master’s degree in Politics and IR from Selwyn College, University of Cambridge in the UK and a B.A. in English Literature and Political Science from the University of Southern California. She lives with her cats in Brooklyn.
